Guest Policies at Highland Hideaway RV Resort
Please read the information below carefully to ensure that you understand and agree to the rules outlined below. Guests of the Highland Hideaway RV Resort are responsible for their visitors to follow the rules also.
PARK
- Your “yard” is the area directly outside your RV entry door. Please do not put anything in the area behind your RV or in the grass on the side you hook up.
- Flying drones anywhere in the park is strictly prohibited.
- Sites must remain neat and tidy. No cigarette butts on the ground. Do not use clear totes to store items outside your RV. Please limit the number of totes to three. We do not want to see your closet, pantry items, cases of soda/water, totes with shoes/clothes, laundry detergent, dog food, etc.
- Please do not dig holes of any kind without permission from management. Our sites have shallow lines for the sewer, cable, etc. and you could cause serious damage by hitting one of these lines.
- Pole mounted, in-ground satellites or cable systems are strictly prohibited. You may use temporary mounts on the site pad/pedestal pad or mount to your RV.
- Clotheslines are prohibited.
- No smoking in any of the buildings.
- Fireworks are prohibited everywhere in the park. This includes sparklers.
- Any outdoor structure must be approved by Management BEFORE going on site. No canopies/tents. Porches and Pergolas may be built with prior approval. Deck boxes (no larger than 5’ W x 3’ D) are permitted but no sheds. No decks, porches, or any structures may be on the grass. We reserve the right to not allow any structure/decoration that is not aesthetically complimentary to the park or is found offensive in a family friendly park.
- Please be aware that any damage caused to a vehicle or RV by outside objects like decorations, grills, toys, bicycles, etc. are solely your responsibility. Most RV insurance companies will not cover this since it is outside the RV and not connected to the RV.
- Nothing is to be on the grass at your site without management’s approval. NO RUGS ON THE GRASS.
- Keep bicycles, toys and miscellaneous items stored in a tidy manner. Cigarette butts, bottle caps, etc. should be placed in trash and not on the ground.
- Generators are only allowed during power outages.
- Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 8AM, 7 days a week. Please monitor the sound level of your children and pets as well as no playing of games like corn hole or others that create a loud noise. Wind chimes should be put away during this time as well.
- At dark or 9 pm, whichever comes first, all bikes, scooters and children must be on their own site.
- Children must be supervised at all times.
- Children under 16 years old are not allowed in any building without adult supervision at all times.
- Please do not walk between RV sites that are not assigned to you. No parking in empty sites.
- Grills and Fire Pits are permitted on the pad site only and must be extinguished before being unattended.
- Fire pits /Chimineas must be extinguished properly before retiring inside your RV.
- A/C Window units are not allowed.
- No hot tubs allowed. No wading/kids pools allowed.
- Holiday decorations must be removed within 2 weeks of the holiday.
- You should not use the Highland Hideaway RV Resort address as your primary address to receive mail. Please set up a PO Box at a post office or use an alternative address. (Do not give this address to family and friends to mail you items and always provide an alternate mailing address when someone needs a physical address such an insurance carrier, etc.
- UPS, Fed Ex and Amazon Prime will deliver directly to your lot. Always include your lot #
FITNESS CENTER
- You must be at least 16 years old to enter the Fitness Center.
TRASH
- Trash bags are not to be left outside at any time. Please dispose of your trash in the dumpster(s).
- Please use trash bags and not throw loose garbage inside the dumpster.
- Glass bottles MUST be inside trash bags.
- Please break down all boxes
- The dumpsters are for the Highland Hideaway RV Park guests and not for the general public. Throwing away materials and trash from your job site is prohibited.
- Do not place any furniture, mattresses, appliances, etc in or near the dumpsters.
SPEED LIMIT, VEHICLES , TRAILERS AND PARKING
- The speed limit in the park is 10 mph. Please watch for children.
- No parking on any sites other than the one assigned to you.
- All vehicles must fit on the site pad and may not be parked on the grass or protrude into the flow of traffic.
- All vehicles must have current registration and be in working order.
- No repair work is allowed on site. RV Repair Contractors must register with the park office before performing any work.
- No Non-RV trailers are allowed in the park. This includes boats on trailers, flat bed trailers, etc. If you have a need for a trailer temporarily at your site, please contact the office to discuss and get approval.
- Golf carts are permitted in the park. No ATV/UTVs are allowed at any time. Golf cart drivers must be a licensed driver and the golf cart must be insured for liability. Golf carts must remain on the roadways and not in the grass.
SWIMMING POOL
- The Swimming pool is open from 10 AM to 9 PM during the season.
- Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent at the swimming pool. Older children cannot be the guardian for younger children.
- No running, diving or back flips are permitted.
- No eating while in the enclosed pool area is allowed. No glass containers in enclosed pool area.
- You must always accompany your visitors while they are using the park amenities.
- No animals inside enclosed pool area.
LAUNDRY ROOM / SHOWERS
- DO NOT wash pet blankets or towels in the laundry room. Many people are allergic to pet hair and we ask for your consideration in this matter. If your pets sleep in your bed, please wash the bed linens at another location.
- Do not leave clothes in washers or dryers longer than the cycle run time. Contents of washers/dryers may be removed if owner has not unloaded 20 minutes after the cycle time has ended. Set your alarm!
- Please wipe out the washers and remove lint from the dryers after you use them.
- Do not overload washers.
- Report any issues with washers/dryers to the office.
- Please trim your beard and hair into the trash cans and not in the sink or on the floor.
- Do not dye your hair or do anything to leave stains in the shower/ sink..
- No animals are allowed in Laundry Room or Restrooms- Do not wash your pets in the showers.
PETS/DOGS
- DOGS, (and any other pet) while outside, MUST BE ON A LEASH AND UNDER THE CONTROL OF THE OWNER/HANDLER AT ALL TIMES. (Children must be able to maintain control of the dog and pick up the dog waste if they are walking a dog.)
- Dogs are NEVER to be left outside tethered or in a kennel, unattended.
- YOU MUST CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR DOG IMMEDIATELY AFTER THEY POOP. This includes the fenced dog run area and your own yard. DOG WASTE STATIONS ARE LOCATED AROUND THE PARK FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE.
- No dog should disturb others with barking, inside or outside the the RV.
- No more than 2 pets per site.
- No pit bulls, pit bull mixes or rottweilers permitted in the park. Any dog showing aggression toward people or other dogs are not allowed.
- Do not feed stray cats, dogs or other animals.
- No pets of any kind are permitted in the buildings or swimming pool area.
SECURITY
For an EMERGENCY please call 911 before contacting park staff.
If law enforcement is called to a disturbance at your site, you will be evicted with no refunds.
